California Board of Registered Nursing

Contemporary Forums is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #04516.
Pharmacology credit for prescriptive authority is awarded for many of the online sessions. The amount of pharmacology credit for nurse practitioners to utilize is listed under the title of those sessions, designated with a Rx. Participants are responsible for documenting and reporting pharmacology hours earned.

Physician Continuing Education


Contemporary Forums is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Certified Nurse-Midwives/Physician Assistants

The American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM) and American Association of Physician Assistants (AAPA) accepts Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) credit, provided the content is relevant. Certified Nurse-Midwives and Physician Assistants may report up to the listed hours of credit. CNMs and PAs should utilize the topics with ACCME/Physician credit to receive applicable credit.

Pharmacist Continuing Education

Contemporary Forums is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. ACPE credit for Pharmacists is available for the 2015, 2016 Neonatal Pharmacology and 2015 The Fetus & Newborn conference sessions only. The record of your participation in the CE Activities will be uploaded to the CPE Monitor under your NABP e-profile.

Physical Therapists

The Physical Therapy Board of California recognizes Contemporary Forums as an Approval Agency to approve providers of Continuing Competency Courses in California. California PT credit is only available for the 2014 Brain Injuries conference enduring materials.
