  • Determine the optimal radiographic modality to diagnosis a patient’s pathologic condition
  • Apply diagnostic reasoning skills to a patient’s diagnosis when a radiograph does not reveal the expected finding.
  • Discuss the risk and benefits of radiologic testing in the critically ill patient including radiation exposure, nephrotoxicity, safe transportation, and critical care staff utilization.
